Our Blinds are made in Adelaide. We have owned and operate our manufacturing plant in Newton, South Australia since 1980 and the company employs over 70 local Adelaide staff. We manufacture over 98% of the products we sell with only a couple of niche exceptions. Stan Bond is proud to be SA’s largest manufacturer of Blinds, Awnings & Security products.
Stan Bond Commercial, which is a division of Stan Bond, has access to buying savings due to the volume of blinds and curtains we manufacture on a daily basis. Also, by partnering directly with your builder, we are able to increase the efficiency of measuring, quoting and installation. We pass these savings on to you via a gift voucher which helps pay for your blinds. This gift voucher comes off our retail price list.
Stan Bond has partner companies around Australia through the Fashionline Group. Although each company is independently owned and operated, the products offerings are very similar, so we can coordinate a time for you to do selections in a showroom close to you.
There are laws in place to protect children from accidental injury on blind & curtain chains. Any chain or cord hanging lower than 1600mm from the floor must be restrained, so a child’s head cannot fit through any loop formed. We cannot install blinds in a manner that contravenes the law, even if the owner of the residence requests an exception.
Roller Blinds, also known as Holland Blinds are currently our most popular window covering, especially when custom made as a combo or double roller. This gives both a privacy blind and a block out fabric blind. Curtains are perfect for a modern and luxurious touch. Many customers often choose block out Roller Blinds along with a high quality sheer curtain for privacy and light control.
