Latest News: No Longer Manufacturing Shower Screens
Stan Bond has manufactured shower screens in our Adelaide plant since the mid 1970’s.
We always prided ourselves on making a high quality product, using thicker and higher quality glass than many of our competitors. Over the years thousands of customers have bought Shower Enclosures from us in both pivot door and sliding door versions. At times we have even provided spare parts for our competitors products to ensure customers are not inconvenienced.
A Change in Direction
In 2017 the difficult decision was made to cease manufacturing and retailing shower screens. This decision was made due to growth in other areas of our business and the need for more manufacturing space. Our business is growing rapidly, which is very exciting, but it does create the need for us to focus on our core business – outside, on & inside the window space.
What does this mean for our customers?
It was really important to us that we continued to provide support for the thousands of customers with our shower screens already installed. So we have developed a relationship with Unique Shower Screen at Welland. Jim & George from established Unique Shower Screens in 1995 and manufacture many of the same models of showers that were in our range. They have a great relationship with Dias who was the system designer we had worked with for many years. As such now Unique Shower Screens will measure, manufacture and install shower screens for all of our customers. This relationship also means we can continue to support our existing customers with any future needs.
