Awnings with better control
Live Comfortably.
Shade the window, and leave room for air to move.
Pivot arm awnings are an external window covering. The fabric shades the opening and can be set at an angle. They are often installed on windows, balconies or outdoor areas, and are often chosen for west-facing windows that take the afternoon sun.
They are one style in our outdoor blinds range. Other awning styles are on the awnings page. Where a straight drop suits the opening better, compare straight drop awnings.
Our pivot arm awnings are available in a range of fabrics. The arms pivot so the fabric can sit at an angle over the window.

Easy to operate
UV protection
Versatile Design
Pivot arm awnings consist of a horizontal arm mechanism that extends outward from the window or wall, allowing the awning fabric to pivot and create a shade angle. This design provides flexibility in adjusting the angle of the awning, enabling you to control the amount of shade and light entering the space.
Sun Protection
Pivot arm awnings shade the opening. Shade can help reduce direct sun and glare on windows.
Ventilation and Privacy
Pivot arm awnings can be partially opened to allow for ventilation while maintaining privacy. They provide a balance between privacy and airflow, allowing fresh air to circulate through the space without compromising your privacy.
Weather Protection
Pivot arm awnings are primarily sun-shading products. Follow the supplied model’s operating limits and retract before windy or stormy conditions when safe to do so. Do not rely on an awning to protect glass from storm damage.
Aesthetic Appeal
Pivot arm awnings come in a wide range of fabric colours, patterns, and designs, so you can choose an option that suits the exterior.
Easy Operation
Operation options include external crank, internal cord winch, and motorised control.
Low Maintenance
Additionally, pivot arm awnings are generally low maintenance and require periodic cleaning to keep them in optimal condition.
Style Options
Our Pivot Arm Awnings are available in a range of fabrics that allow for better control over your shade protection. The Stan Bond selection of fabrics offers different levels of shade, UV protection and outward visibility. Ask for the performance data for your selected fabric.
These awnings are available with open brackets or an over-roll hood (powder-coated where required). Visit our Campbelltown showroom to see the range.
