The Stan Bond range of non-Crimsafe security doors and screens provide a barrier using aluminium grilles or decorative cast panels. Styles and colours are available to suit your specific needs along with the design look and feel of your home. Able to match any doors with restricted vision mesh, a pet door or a triple point lock – our range of security screens can also be matched to hinged door openings, sliding doors or fixed window screens.
Insect screens and barrier doors serve different needs from tested security doors. Ask which classification applies to the complete frame, mesh, locks and installation you are considering.
Aluminium frames, grilles and cast panels won't rust like steel or iron. Within 5 km of the coast we fit 316 stainless steel hinges. Decorative cast panels are gravity die cast aluminium and diamond grilles are tempered aluminium, both set in an extruded aluminium frame known for its strength and durability.

Diamond and Decorative Security Doors look great with restricted vision mesh in a contrasting colour. The restricted vision mesh provides privacy during the day, as a person coming to the door cannot easily see into the home.
Improve the security of your home with Diamond Security screens. Our range of custom-made security grilles are made from tempered aluminium and can be installed on hinged and sliding doors, half panel doors and fixed windows.
Expanded Grille Security Doors also provide an inexpensive option, often used for less critical doors such as upstairs or laundry openings.
Available in a range of styles, patterns and colours, our Decorative Cast Panels are custom-made to suit your precise requirements. The Cast Panel Doors are made with aluminium frame and cast aluminium decorative panels create a heritage look without the cost or weight of cast iron or wrought iron door.
Our Decorative Cast Panel range creates an inviting entrance to your home. You can easily complement the style of the architecture of your home with one of the many designs available. Matched with a restricted vision mesh and three point lock, this range becomes a perfect front door option.

Additional Options
Our security doors can be fitted with the following:
Pet Doors – Available in small, medium and large sizes to fit any of our furry friends. Pet doors can be fitted in Standard Security Doors, Crimsafe Security Doors and Diamond Grille Security Doors. In a tested security screen door such as Crimsafe, a pet-door opening changes the assembly and takes the screen outside its AS 5039 security classification. Do not assume the original security performance or warranty applies. Ask us to confirm the available configuration and written supplier guidance before deciding. Available with a clear plastic flap that can be locked into place in 6 neutral colours.
Bug seals – An extra level of protection to stop insects from entering.
Triple locking system – Three locking points at the top, bottom and middle of the door for added security and protection.
Key alike barrels – Locks can be keyed alike to existing doors if compatible, allowing you to use one key for multiple doors.
Standard Features
Our Decorative Cast Panels come standard with:
Three-point hinging
Aluminium flywire for screening windows and doors where extra strength is required
Mesh Options
Flywire Mesh – Thin wire mesh, designed to allow airflow and stop flies. Does not provide security.
Pet Mesh – Thicker alternative to Flywire Mesh that is softer and more flexible. For use where pet’s claws are a problem.
Tuffscreen Mesh – A heavy-duty mesh option. Ask for the current supplier material specification and the classification of the complete door assembly.
Restricted Vision Mesh (also known as One Way Mesh) – Thick mesh screen which restricts vision into the home, but allows visibility out. Privacy depends on lighting conditions; restricted vision mesh alone does not establish a tested security rating. Available in a range of colours.
Standard Colours
Our range of security doors are available in 6 standard colours. All doors can be powder coated to the colour of your choice for a small additional charge.
- Clear Anodised

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between small diamond, standard diamond and decorative grilles?
Stan Bond offers three Diamond Security Grilles – Small, Standard and Decorative. As their names suggest, Small Diamond Grilles use 60mm diamond shapes, Standard Diamond Grilles use 70mm diamond shapes, whereas the 70mm diamonds in Decorative Diamond Grilles are spaced out further to create a more abstract pattern. All Grilles use a strand thickness of 7mm.
Are triple lock systems supplied as standard?
Triple lock systems are an optional extra that we highly recommend for added security. As standard, Diamond Grille Doors are manufactured with a single lock system, where the door locks in at the handle. Crimsafe is the only Security Door Stan Bond offers that comes with a triple lock system as standard.
What mesh is used in diamond grille doors and screens?
With Diamond Grille Security Doors and Screens, you have the choice of mesh to suit your needs – Flywire, Restricted Vision/One Way Mesh or Tuffscreen. Flywire is supplied as standard.
How strong are decorative and diamond grille doors and screens?
Grilles are designed to obstruct anyone from being able to push on the mesh of your door/screen, deterring intruders. The mesh and grille are stronger together than the mesh door on its own.
Crimsafe uses a clamped frame system to retain stainless steel mesh. Compare the current test evidence for the complete door assembly and its installation rather than assuming all mesh or grille products offer the same resistance.
What colours are diamond grilles available in?
Our Diamond Grilles are available in a range of standard colours to suit almost every home. If you are after a specific colour to match your decor, grilles can be powdercoated at a small additional charge.
Do you manufacture diamond grille doors?
Diamond Grille Doors and Screens can be manufactured in a range of applications, including single hinged doors, double hinged doors, single sliding doors, double sliding doors and fixed window screens.
Can I have a pet door in a diamond grille security door?
Yes, you can have a pet door in a Diamond Security Grille Door. Pet doors are available in small, medium or large and are manufactured into the door at our factory before installation. Diamond grille doors are barrier doors; adding a pet door changes the assembly, so ask us to confirm the configuration and supplier guidance before deciding.
Are your Cast Panel Doors the same as Cast Iron Doors?
No.
Cast or Wrought Iron Doors often refer to steel welded door frames with a Wrought Iron decoration.
We do not make cast iron or wrought iron doors. This is not the style most often made by the Security Door Industry.
Our Decorative Cast Doors are made from cast aluminium, not iron and use the same Aluminium Frame as the rest of our Security Door series.
Is Crimsafe the same as a fly screen?
No. Crimsafe is a security screen and door product built from specified stainless mesh with a patented clamping system, and we are a Crimsafe Authorised Licensee and we supply Crimsafe. An insect or fly screen is a different product and is not a security screen.
Can I add a pet door to a Crimsafe door?
A pet door can be fitted to a Crimsafe door, but it needs a large hole in the security mesh and takes the screen out of the AS 5039 security-screen classification. We will tell you this before you order. If security matters most, ask us about alternatives.
What is the difference between an insect screen and a security screen door?
An insect screen (flywire) lets air through and keeps flies out, but it does not provide security. Pet mesh is tougher than flywire but is still an insect screen, not security. Tuffscreen is a heavier barrier mesh. A security screen door pairs stainless-steel mesh with a clamped frame and lock hardware to deter forced entry. Crimsafe, which Stan Bond supplies as a Crimsafe Authorised Licensee, is our security-screen range. Ask us which suits each opening.
Does a Crimsafe door come with a triple lock?
Yes. Triple locking is standard on Crimsafe doors. Our other security doors, such as diamond grille and cast panel doors, come with a single-point lock as standard, and a triple lock can be added as an option. Your consultant will confirm the lock fitted to your door when they measure up and quote.
Can my security door be keyed alike to my other doors?
Usually, yes. Locks can be keyed alike to your existing doors where they are compatible, so one key works several doors. We need your house key early because we cannot finish the lock until we have it. Please bring your best key rather than a spare, as worn keys give poor results.
Can a security door fit my existing sliding glass door?
Often, yes. A sliding security door runs on its own track beside your glass door and locks into an interlock on the glass door's frame. On open tracks a small side stiffener may be added so pets or children cannot knock it off its rollers. We check your track, frame and reveal at measure before we make it.
