It depends on the material and how the panel opens. Wide hinged panels are limited, because a large panel can twist out of square and the louvres may not close cleanly. For wide windows we split the opening into two or more panels, or use sliding, bi-fold or fixed panels. Taller panels need a mid-rail. We confirm sizes at the measure.

An L frame sits in a neat, square reveal. A Z frame has a wider return that helps cover gaps where the opening is out of square. Face fit mounts the frame on the architrave or wall instead of inside the recess. If the diagonals of your window differ by more than 10 mm, face fit is usually better.

Not always exactly. Paint and stain colours change over time and vary slightly between batches, so follow-up orders or replacement parts can differ in tone, and the gap grows with time. Custom colours come from a paint fan deck, and we cannot guarantee a match to an existing painted surface unless you supply a sample.

Dust regularly with a soft cloth, feather duster, microfibre wand or a soft brush on a vacuum. Wipe over with a clean, dry microfibre cloth, and spot clean marks with a microfibre cloth and warm water, adding a little mild detergent if necessary. Dry straight away. Avoid harsh chemicals, silicone sprays, abrasives and soaking. Move the louvres with the tilt rod, and rotate them regularly so the sun fades them evenly.
