Indoor plantation shutters
Framed panels with louvres fixed into them, fitted inside the home. Tilt the slats for light, privacy and fresh flowing air, or open the shutter for unobscured views.
Outdoor plantation shutters
Aluminium shutters for outdoor areas, designed to withstand the harsh elements while maintaining durability and elegance.
Roller shutters
Linked slats that roll into a top box on the outside of the window, for privacy and security.
What the room needs
- Light. Tilt the slats to your ideal level of light, or open the shutter for unobscured views. They are a room darkening product rather than full block out.
- Privacy. For larger windows, a mid-rail lets the top and bottom halves of the shutter be operated separately, maximising light control and privacy.
- Access. With no cords or chains, our interior plantation shutters are child and pet safe. They can be installed in sliding doors, bi-fold, hinged or fixed panels, for window frames, door openings and room dividers.
- Appearance. Suitable for both modern and traditional South Australian homes, including arched, triangular, raked and bay windows.

Basswood
Our most popular plantation shutter, for its expensive look and feel. Ideal for living areas and bedrooms.
PVC
A fantastic choice for wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries due to their water-resistant and low-maintenance properties.
Western Red Cedar
There is nothing else on the market like Western Red Cedar to create a warm and inviting feel in a room.
Configurations
- Louvre sizes of 63, 76, 89 or 114 mm. Larger slats give a more contemporary look; smaller slats suit traditional interior styles.
- A centre tilt rod, an offset control bar or an aluminium control bar, on the face or hidden on the reverse side of the panel.
- Mono Closure as standard with 135-degree blade rotation, or Dual Closure with 180-degree blade rotation.
- A mid-rail on larger windows, so the top and bottom halves operate separately.
- Mortise and tenon joints for greater strength.

How do I clean my plantation shutters?
Plantation Shutters are easy to clean and maintain. Simply wipe over with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. For any stubborn spots or marks, use a microfibre cloth dampened with warm water. Add a small amount of mild detergent to the warm water if necessary.
What is covered
All parts repaired or replaced if they do not work correctly.
No cost for any onsite work or for transporting the product.
If a part of your product has a longer warranty than 5 years, we pass that on in full.
For the first two years a warranty claim costs you nothing. If it is broken, we fix it. Applies to the original owner and to orders placed from 1 July 2019. Damage or incorrect use is not covered. Read the Comfort Warranty.
