The 3M Prestige Series Film is simply amazing technology. With two versions available – Prestige 70, which is almost optically clear, and the Prestige 40, which is tinted – the film provides a heat rejection of approximately 60% with no additional internal reflection. Prestige Series

The 3M Prestige Series uses non-metallized, multi-layer optical film and nano-technology to prevent up to 97% of the sun’s infrared light as well as 60% of heat and 99% of ultraviolet rays coming through windows. 3M Prestige Window Films are designed to keep your home cool, comfortable and protected – without compromising natural light and views. Prestige Window Films are clear to lightly tinted, and will allow up to 70% of visible light through your windows.

Night Vision Series

Night Vision Window Films reduce glare and reflect up to 71% of heat coming through windows via dual technology of metalized and carbon impregnated polyester layers. This dual reflective technology gives the film a bronze tint, providing enhanced day and night-time privacy whilst still allowing views to the outside.

Traditional Series

3M Traditional Series Window Films possess a thin adhesive as well as a micro-metal coating. This allows the films to reflect infrared solar radiation, reducing the amount of heat being transferred through the window. The 3M Traditional Window Films work to reduce glare and ultraviolet damage and offer different levels of privacy, depending on the film chosen.

Stan Bond does not recommend Traditional Metal Spluttered films in many situations, as they are less clear, less effective, corrode near sea conditions and can reduce the effectiveness of wireless internet and mobile signal.

Ceramic Series

The Ceramic Series Window Films utilise nano-ceramic technology to reject up to 80% of the sun’s infrared light, 59% of the heat and 99% of the ultraviolet rays coming through windows. 3M Ceramic Window Films are moderately tinted and provide additional glare reduction, while allowing up to 50% of visible light transmission.

Using nanotechnology, 3M has created ceramics so fine they are not only invisible to the naked eye, they are imperceptible even with a microscope. These ceramics allowed 3M to create a film that is tough, won’t corrode and is so clear your view will remain beautiful.

The new 3M Ceramic Series delivers stellar performance against solar heat and sunlight. The spectrally selective films reject up to 80% of the sun’s infrared light to reduce energy costs, while blocking more than 99% of the sun’s harmful ultra-violet (UV) rays, which reduces the fading of fabrics.

3M Lifetime Warranty

3M Window Films are warranted to maintain their solar properties without bubbling, peeling, cracking, or crazing. Many of our films are warranted against discoloration too. Should the product prove to be defective Stan Bond, 3M and the authorised 3M Accredited Installer will replace the film and provide the reapplication labour free of charge.
